SEW DARN CUTE

When my youngest was around 6 months old I decided I'd give making him some harems a go. I bought myself some sugarskulls jersey and set about it on my trusty old Singer. I was delighted with the result, they looked okay and they fit! Before I knew I was making clothes for all my friends children, so I bought myself an overlocker and Sew Darn Cute was born.

This has been so much more than a business to me, after suffering very badly with Postnatal Anxiety it became my therapy. After being an Accountant before maternity leave it was so enjoyable to be creative again and do something that I love.

I also love drawing, so I recently decided to have a go at designing some of my own fabrics. This is an incredibly rewarding experience and I'm looking forward to designing and bring you lots more new exclusive prints.
